Kutná Hora - Czech Republic
Kutná Hora is a city in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. The city has approximately 20,000 inhabitants. The centre of the city, that includes the Sedlec Abbey and its ossuary, was designated an UNESCO World Heritage site in 1995 because of its important architecture and the influence on subsequent architectural developments in other Central European city centres. Since the year 1961, the city centre is also protected by law as an urban monument reservation, the fourth largest in the country. Kutná Hora is located about 50 kilometres (31 miles) east of Prague. It was built around the Vrchlice stream.
