Sydney is the capital city of the state New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia. Sydney´s metropolitan population is around 5,231 million. It is located on the Australia´s east coast and is made up of 658 suburbs. Nicknames of Sydney include „Harbour City“ and the „Emerald City“. The residents of Sydney are known as „Sydneysiders“. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It is a very modern, ethnically mixed, shining city that is built on the spectacular harbour. It is full of air, different colors, modern skyscrapers, parks and ferries. The must see places include the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Darling Harbour, Bondi and Manly beaches, Hyde Park, North Sydney and the shops around George Street or any of the great restaurants.
